Do tell all about the new camera please. And do please let me know when you update the blog so I can come back and read everything. God bless you my friend.
Curious what kind of camera you got! And I wanted to say, I always enjoy looking at the pictures you take...and I'm always jealous of the amazing places you find that look like they came out of Pride and Prejudice or something!! :-)
Well I got two, what you see in this post was shot with my new point and shoot, a Fuji E-900 - I really like it, it can shoot raw, will take lenses, has a histogram display (which I'm still learning to use). Things I don't like about it are that the delay timer is buried in a menu, and that it uses XD cards – a totally worthless format. It also has a almost worthless viewfinder – you can turn the LCD off to conserve power. Its battery life seems to be very good so far, partly due to the smaller LCD screen. But it’s nice to have a camera again. What I can’t wait to use is my new Rebel XSi which is coming in the mail sometime this week!!!!!!
Rebel Xsi!! nice! I've got one of those showing up in the mail next week myself. haha wow, nice choice what lens are you getting with it? I bought the base without the kit lens and am then getting a Tamron 17-50 F/2.8 I'm pretty stoked!!

ReplyDeleteSnook - I looked up the lens, and it comes with a Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS lens, as well as a Canon EF 75-300mm lens - should be too much fun!
